What are your opening hours?

7:30am-6pm, Monday-Friday.

Are you open during school holidays?

Yes, this we are a year-round provision, but we also offer retainer-free term-time only contracts.

Do you provide food?

Yes. We provide all your child's meals and snacks throughout their time with us.

What are your fees?

Two different session costs are available for both morning and afternoon sessions, dependent upon the length of your child's stay with Little Tinkers.

7:30-9am - £6 / 8-9am - £4.50

3:15-6pm - £10 / 3:15-5:30pm - £8

Session lengths are chosen at the point of bookings, not on the day itself.

What are the ages of the children you care for?

We provide wraparound care for children at Norbury Hall Primary School from reception class, right up to those in year 6. Unfortunately at this stage we do not offer childcare for pre-school children, but hope to do so in the future.

Who will look after my child whilst at Little Tinkers?

We have a lovely small team of three at Little Tinkers, who are here every day. More details about Rebecca, Matt and Charlotte is here. All staff have been DBS-checked, safeguarding trained, and also hold a full paediatric first aid certificate. Rebecca is the registered childminder, and Matt and Charlotte are Ofsted-approved assistants.

How do I pay?

Your accounts are updated online on a real-time basis dependent on which sessions you've booked, so you always know exactly where you're up to. Payment for your child's sessions are due in advance. We're happy to be led by yourselves as to whether that means weekly, monthly, or termly in advance. There are several routes of payment (all detailed fully within the system): GoCardless / bank transfer / tax-free childcare / childcare vouchers. As soon as we see a payment has been made, we'll reconcile it onto your account accordingly.

My child attends Norbury Hall nursery. Can you take them and/or collect them?

Yes. Simply let us know via the system which club your child attends and when they finish and we'll ensure we bring them back to Little Tinkers afterwards. You simply book the session on the system with the appropriate home time you require (5:30pm or 6pm)

I'm running late - what do I do?

We know that sometimes the journey back from work won't go according to plan. Either give us a call or drop us a text on 07715 591438 as soon as you can to let us know, so that we can manage your child's expectations, and in turn ensure that we have the correct number of staff in place to cover your child's extended stay.
